Build a monkey costume in an afternoon? Challenge accepted.
A few years back my buddy K called me on a Saturday morning asking for help making a monkey costume. “I’m going to a Halloween party tonight and I want a costume that women would want to pet” were his exact words.
He brought his mom and her sewing machine over to my house, then we were off and running. Patterns? Who needs a pattern? 4 hours later we had finished a pretty darned cool monkey costume with drawstring hood, complete with an articulated tail (my idea). Quite proud of this.
